Cannigione, Sardinia Italy

Cannigione is one of the most attractive summer spots on the Emerald Coast, specifically in the Gulf of Arzachena. Its strategic location draws visitors to its outstanding beaches, scattered along the coastline stretching from Olbia to Palau in the north. Some of these coastal towns, such as Porto Cervo and Porto Rotondo, are widely known as luxury tourist destinations. For a stroll, the path that runs from the harbour to the beaches of Balca Brusciata, L’Ulticeddu and Mannena shows exactly why Cannigione is so renowned. In the village of Cannigione you can visit the Church of San Giovanni Battista and the archaeological site on the outskirts of the town. In the evening, the restaurants come to life and you can sample some of the finest Sardinian cuisine, such as the “MareTerra” style, which brings together the best of seafood dishes and the traditional cuisine of the island’s pastoral culture. Cannigione is also highly recommended for swimming and snorkelling on its beaches, with turquoise waters and fine white sand.
