Cortina d'Ampezzo is a town and comune in the heart of the southern Alps in the Veneto region of Northern Italy. Set along the Boite river in an alpine valley, it is a popular winter sports resort, renowned for its ski runs, dramatic scenery, wide range of accommodation, stylish shops and lively après‑ski scene, as well as its jet‑set and aristocratic European crowd.
