Cala Gonone Italy

Cala Gonone is a coastal town in the municipality of Dorgali (Nuoro province, on the island of Sardinia). It lies 20 metres above sea level and had 1,279 inhabitants in 2007. The town is 9 kilometres from the municipal capital. Approaching from Dorgali and passing through the tunnel on the SS 125 road that crosses Monte Bardia, Cala Gonone appears against the deep blue of the sea, set on a hillside that slopes down towards the coast of the Gulf of Orosei.
