It's now possible to see examples of many different historical periods in a short span of time within the city center, from a few remaining medieval buildings near Alexanderplatz, to the ultra-modern glass and steel structures at Potsdamer Platz. Due to its tumultuous history, Berlin remains a city with many unique neighborhoods. Berlin has many facets. It is a charming, cosmopolitan, multicultural, and multiethnic city with very friendly locals and a plethora of things to do and see.

Klaipėda is a city in Lithuania located at the mouth of the Danė River where it empties into the Baltic Sea. It is the third largest city in Lithuania and the capital of Klaipėda County. Klaipėda is recognized for its main landmarks: the sculpture Annchen von Tarau, situated in the theater square, the old sailing ship Meridianas, and the Fachwerk architecture in the Old Town. Klaipėda is also famous for its numerous sculptures. Many small sculptures such as: a mouse, guard dog, dragon, chimney sweep, post pigeons, black ghost, foot prints and others can be found hidden in the old town. The museums in Klaipėda include the Lithuanian Sea Museum and Dolphinarium, the Castle Museum, The Blacksmith's Museum, and the History Museum of Lithuania Minor. The old town of Klaipėda is small but intriguing. The theater square features a balcony from which Adolph Hitler once addressed a crowd. According to legend, Hitler was irritated because the statue depicting ""Anikė"" from a Lithuanian folk tale was not facing him, so he ordered the statue to be removed. A replica now stands in its original location.

During the summer, many locals leave the city's peacefulness for their country homes, but in winter, the capital comes alive with theater, political institutions, and over 20,000 university students. Architecture enthusiasts will adore Helsinki. The beautiful neoclassical buildings around Senate Square were almost entirely designed by German architect Carl Ludwig Engel in the early 19th century, shortly after Helsinki took over as Finland's capital from Turku. The jewel in the crown is the Lutheran Cathedral, which has recently been renovated and looks better than ever, with the 12 apostles on the roof once again gazing down at the world below. Elsewhere in the city, the bold, minimalist designs of the city's renowned 20th-century architects, notably Aalto and Saarinen, complement the sleek neoclassical lines. The breathtaking Jean Sibelius Monument, dedicated to Finland's most famous composer, is made up of hundreds of steel pipes sculpted by Elia Hiltunen. The monument is located in Sibelius Park.
