icy strait point, alaska
Arrival: 15:00 - Departure: 22:00
Icy Strait Point is a Native-owned and operated destination located on Icy Strait in the Alexander Archipelago of southeastern Alaska. Icy Strait separates Chichagof Island to the south from the Alaska mainland to the north, stretching about 40 miles (64 km) from its western connection with Cross Sound and Glacier Bay to its eastern junction with Chatham Strait and Lynn Canal. Pleasant Island and Lemesurier Island are the two largest islands within the strait. Nearby, the historic Cape Spencer Light, once a manned lighthouse, now serves as an important active navigational aid. Icy Strait Point is owned by Alaska Natives, and all profits directly support the community of Hoonah, the largest Tlingit village in Alaska. About 85% of the staff are local residents, and they focus on offering visitors a unique experience that highlights Tlingit culture, traditions, and hospitality.

Day 4
hubbard glacier (cruising)
Arrival: 10:00 - Departure: 14:00
Hubbard Glacier is a tidewater glacier located in the Saint Elias Mountains in Alaska (United States) and the Yukon Territory in Canada. From its origin in the Yukon Territory, the glacier extends approximately 122 km (76 mi) to Disenchantment Bay and Yakutat Bay, making it the longest glacier in Alaska that ends in the ocean. Its face is more than 10 km (6 mi) wide. Before reaching the water, it is joined by Valerie Glacier, which experts believe provides an additional push that will eventually lead to the permanent separation of Russell Fjord from Disenchantment Bay. In May 1986, and again in the spring of 2002, this separation occurred temporarily, creating what is known as Russell Lake. In 1986, after the fjord’s water level rose to about 25 m (82 ft) above sea level during the summer, water pressure eventually broke through the ice dam around midnight on October 8, 1986, reconnecting the fjord with the ocean. This outburst flood was the second-largest jökulhlaup (glacial outburst flood) ever recorded.

Day 6
ketchikan, alaska
Arrival: 09:00 - Departure: 19:00
Ketchikan is a city and the borough seat of the Ketchikan Gateway Borough in Alaska. It is the state's southeasternmost major settlement, and its downtown is listed as a National Historic District. At the 2010 census, the city had a population of 8,050, making it the fifth-most populous city in Alaska and the tenth-most populous community when census-designated places are included. The surrounding borough—which includes suburbs north and south of the city along the Tongass Highway, as well as small rural settlements accessible mostly by water—had a population of 13,477 in the same census, with U.S. Census estimates placing the 2019 population at 13,901. Incorporated on August 25, 1900, Ketchikan is the oldest existing incorporated city in Alaska, as consolidation or unification elsewhere in the state dissolved other city governments. Located on Revillagigedo Island—named in 1793 by Captain George Vancouver—Ketchikan takes its name from Ketchikan Creek, which flows through town into Tongass Narrows. The word “Ketchikan” derives from the Tlingit name for the creek, Kitschk-hin, a term of uncertain meaning that may translate to “the river belonging to Kitschk” or “Thundering Wings of an Eagle.” In modern Tlingit, the name is Kichx̱áan.
